Five things I love this Friday…
1. Blue and Red combos. I’ve been thinking about the VIF Christmas card that I get the privilege of designing each year and realized how much I hate designing for Christmas. We’ve been brainwashed by all the green and red, it is hard to be creative when it comes to Christmas. So this year I am going with blue and red (I’ll post the card finished later). Here are some combos that I found that inspired me…
2. Sharpies. I love all sharpies, all shapes, colors and sizes. They are just way more fun to write with that regular pens. I especially like the new sharpie pen. I have two pens in my bag and when me and Drew go to our marriage class we always fight over who gets to use the sharpie pen. I always win.
3. IKEA. Enough said. I got our dishes there, my comforter, my lamp, my curtains, my bookshelves, you name it, I got it. I wish I could just hire IKEA to design my entire house. I just love all their patterns and textiles.
4. Sisterhood of the Traveling pants. Gosh I love those books and movies. I will gladly admit it. I went to see the first movie with my friends Morgan and Raisa and I will admit I cried. I even have my own sisterhood friends, three girls that I known since we were very little. I played american girl dolls with them. I miss those days. Though we all go to college far away from each other, we still try to get together for lunch during holiday breaks.
Back in the day…
5. Skinny Jeans. I said skinny jeans, not mom jeans! Awhile back when they first came around Drew told me I was not allowed to wear them, I did anyways and I love them. When I was little I hated wearing jeans, they were just so stiff compared to my leggings…come on I couldn’t do a cartwheel or anything! And because I am still so short, I can buy capris and then wear them as skinny jeans. Score!
